The Garden

What can I expect when I get there?

We have designated parking areas for parking your vehicle. As well as benches and picnic tables for public use. Porta-Potties are also on site.

Watering

Our gardens are equipped with Automatic Rain Sensing Sprinkler systems, scheduled for night time watering to optimize plant water intake and minimize water waste. There will be taps and hoses accessible to all plots along the pathways for manual watering.

Gardens are watered every second day weather pending. If Alberta does not get adequate rainfall this spring, water rationing will be required. Try to garden so that you require less water. Keep your garden as flat as possible so our sprinklers provide maximum water distribution to your soil. The larger the hill is for your plant the less water it will retain and provide to the plants root system, try to keep your hills to a minimum to prevent water run off.
